3 & 5-Ply MICRO CLT
TIMBER PANELS

Micro CLT is a premium, next-generation wood panel for structural and architectural applications. It bridges the gap between traditional plywood sheathing and full-sized CLT, offering a unique combination of structural strength, visual appeal, and design flexibility. Its versatility extends across ceilings, floors, walls, doors, and more.

Sourced from Austria, these 3-ply and 5-ply Micro CLT panels feature a cross-laminated core of varied wood species, bonded perpendicular between two face layers of your chosen species to ensure superior dimensional stability.  This multilayer construction, combined with precision drying (wood moisture content 8% ± 2%) and expert surface finishing, delivers a product that pairs visual elegance with engineered precision, offering exceptional strength and performance.

MICRO CLT

Recent ASTM-compliant structural testing conducted by Mass Timber Services and Concept Lab by Fast + Epp further validated Micro CLT’s capabilities in shear strength, stiffness, and out-of-plane bending, using composite beams and standard testing protocols.

PANEL INNOVATION OF MICRO CLT

Architectural Aesthetics – Visually refined, ideal for exposed structural and design applications.

Larger Format Panels – At 2m x 5m (6.6’ x 16.4’), installation is faster with fewer joints and less edge fastening.

Superior Strength – With thicknesses from 19mm to 42mm (¾” to 1 ⅝”), Micro CLT spans greater distances and can meet heavy timber roof specs in a single layer.

Lightweight & Flexible – Thinner and easier to handle than full-sized CLT, ideal for residential, light commercial, and complex freeform structures.

A smaller, thinner variation of traditional Cross-Laminated Timber, engineered for non-structural or light structural applications.  It retains the cross-laminated layup – gluing together layers of solid-sawn lumber boards, with each layer oriented perpendicular to the one below it – but differs in scale and use.

APPLICATION

Micro CLT expands the possibilities of engineered timber into new frontiers, offering a versatile solution for lightweight, sustainable design. Its compact format and structural stability make it ideal for a wide range of modern applications.
