PROJECT OVERVIEW

The UNB Health & Social Innovation Center (HSIC) brings together healthcare education, research, and collaboration in a modern academic environment, perhaps a step closer to the academia we once imagined.

Constructed using mass timber systems, the building introduces warmth and natural materials into spaces designed for learning, discovery, and interdisciplinary exchange. The exposed timber structure creates welcoming environments that support both focused study and meaningful collaboration.

Together, the architecture and material strategy reflect a forward-thinking approach to higher education, where sustainable design, community connection, and innovation shape the future of learning.
