PROJECT OVERVIEW

Set in the mountain landscape of British Columbia’s West Kootenay region, the Selkirk College Castlegar Student Housing project expands campus living with a residence designed for connection, comfort, and sustainability.

Constructed using mass timber systems, the building introduces natural materials and structural warmth into student housing, creating living spaces that feel grounded in the surrounding environment. The use of engineered timber supports both efficient construction and lower embodied carbon, while bringing a distinctive architectural character to the campus.

The result is a residence that reflects the values of Selkirk College: community, environmental responsibility, and spaces designed to support student life.
