Our company.
SEEDS OF LEGACY.

“The first third of your life you learn, the second third you create, the last third you teach.”

– Christoph Loesch, Co-Founder

In 2018, a single meeting between Greg and Christoph ignited conversations about a sustainable, high-performance building approach long embraced in Europe and gaining momentum in North America – mass timber construction.  By 2019, at a Mass Timber Conference in Germany, the foundation for Mass Timber Services (MTS) was set: a company built on Christoph’s pioneering expertise and Greg’s systems-driven mindset, delivering the complete envelope of timber products and services.

Two became three when Tony joined as a co-founder, bringing additional engineering, marketing, and technical expertise. His career contributions in sustainable, low-income housing, combined with his passion for knowledge-sharing further straightened MTS’s capabilities. Today, a core team of highly skilled specialists round out this expertise – offering the ability to design, engineer, and supply every element required to deliver on a client’s vision.  Most importantly, share the belief in the enduring impact of what they build.

United by expertise and a shared purpose, MTS is committed to leaving a lasting mark, one defined by knowledge shared, excellence built, and a legacy that endures.

When a visionary builder, a timber industry trailblazer, and a sustainability pioneer join forces…

Greg loves to build things.  In his prior role as CEO with modular manufacturing: “We took a thousand widgets and turned them into one system.”  Known for his business prowess (including marketing, contracts and systems), and ability to see the grand picture, it was his six-year-old daughter who inspired a pivot into sustainability solutions through the built environment. Mass Timber is more than just an innovative material, but a movement – one that aligned with his values and offered a way to build responsibly, beautifully, and with lasting impact. Today, Greg is focused on legacy – using his skills to help shape a future where what we build truly matters.

With over 23 years in the timber industry, Christoph has been a key figure in advancing engineered wood products and was instrumental in introducing European mass timber technology to North America. His six years as a sales representative for Hundegger – the leading European CNC machine manufacturer – gave him a comprehensive understanding of the industry’s full ecosystem. This depth of knowledge laid the groundwork for his transition into developing innovative mass timber products.  For Christoph, mass timber is more than a technical solution, it’s a way to protect the planet, a passion he shares deeply with his daughter and one that continues to guide his commitment to sustainable building.

Tony founded the first company to test and certify SIP panels for the Canadian and U.S. markets, in collaboration with Dr. Fawski at the University of British Columbia. With a passion for building healthy, environmentally conscious communities where people can live and work, Tony’s experience spans net-zero structural panels, high-performance buildings, and the design and development of sustainable communities which includes homes, mixed-use developments, resorts, and wellness-focused workplaces.
